Mike has always had an interest in sound, specifically music. At an early age Mike began to excel at his instrument studies, quickly picking up a wide array of instruments, and performing with youth orchestras all over the world. During his time at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Mike took on many musical ensembles and became an audio/recording engineer for the school, recording and mixing a multitude of recitals and concerts. Mike spent his college summers interning at Chicago music houses and touring with his bands. After earning a B.A. in music composition, and a minor in bassoon performance, Mike started out as an intern composer and production assistant for Comma Music and has since found himself discovering the world of sound design as the newest assistant engineer at Particle.
Mike has done work as a studio musician, both instrumental and vocal, for brands such as McDonald's, American Family Insurance, Phillip Morris, Beef and Hallmark (just to name a few).
