Maggie Wasserman : Executive Producer
Comma Music and Particle Audio offer three internship sessions a year that correspond with the school semesters (Spring, Summer, Fall). Interns work 8:30 - 5:30, 2 days a week. Interns are required to work in both the post-production (Particle) and music (Comma) sides of the business, but emphasis can be placed on one, depending on your background and career goals. Internships are unpaid, but can be applied to school internship credit requirements.
Because of the development of our Latino division, Onda, Spanish-speaking bilingual students are encouraged to apply. However, this skill is not a requirement, so those who are not bilingual will still qualify for the position.
Over the course of the internship, interns are given a comprehensive look into the day-to-day operations of a professional studio. Intern duties include, but are not limited to, stocking refrigerators, getting client lunches, general office cleaning, etc. In addition to these duties, interns receive numerous hands on and shadowing opportunities in post-audio and music production, including client services, music showcases and sessions, among other opportunities. Employees of Comma/Particle strive for excellence on a daily basis and expect nothing less from interns.
To apply for an internship, please email a PDF of your resume to email@example.com. Additionally, be sure to include a cover letter telling us about yourself and your interest in the field, as well as your availability (preferred semester and days of the week you can work). One more thing: Please only send links to portfolio/reel materials; DO NOT attach them to your email. Thank you for your time, and Good Luck!
